The Accountancy & Sage Bootcamp is a 10–12-week structured development programme designed to strengthen financial and bookkeeping capability within organisations.

Aligned to core accountancy principles and Sage accounting software, the Bootcamp equips participants with the practical knowledge, systems understanding and structured processes required to support accurate financial operations. The emphasis is on real-world application within your organisation’s financial environment.

Each programme begins with a scoping session to:

Practical exercises can incorporate organisation-specific examples and documentation.

This programme is suitable for participants with foundational financial knowledge who are ready to progress to structured, intermediate-level financial process capability using Sage 50.

This Bootcamp is designed for professionals who:
• Work in finance, accounts or operational support roles
• Have basic bookkeeping knowledge
• Use Sage 50 or similar systems in their role
• Want to strengthen structured financial processes and reporting capability

Learning is practical, structured and aligned to real operational scenarios.

Participants develop capability in:
• Fundamental bookkeeping and accountancy principles

• Period-end procedures and reconciliations

Delivery is facilitated by industry-led financial and accounting experts.

The Bootcamp can be delivered:
• Over 10 to 12 weeks
• One day per week or spaced delivery
• As a cohort model for finance or operational teams
• Integrated with live organisational initiatives

All participants receive:
• A Sage licence providing access to Sage 50 software for six months
• Six months’ access to Cenit College’s Moodle learning platform
• Recorded sessions, downloadable resources and tutor support between classes

Organisations can choose between two delivery pathways:

Option 1 – Capability Bootcamp

Participants complete the structured Bootcamp and receive a Cenit digital badge recognising applied financial and Sage 50 capability.

This pathway focuses on strengthening operational competence and internal financial controls.

The Bootcamp can be extended to embed Sage 50 certification within the programme.

Participants prepare for and complete the full Sage 50 Bookkeeping certification pathway as part of the extended Bootcamp structure.

Exam preparation is integrated into the programme and scheduled within the agreed delivery timeline.

This approach ensures capability development and certification progression are aligned.
